A 55-year-old man experienced sudden dyspnea and hoarseness after syncope. A fractured dental plate was found obstructing his airway and successfully removed via bronchoscopy.

Observation:
- A 55-year-old male presented with severe dyspnea and hoarseness post-syncope.
- Physical exam revealed stridor and wheezing; laryngoscopy was normal.
- Imaging identified a high-density foreign body at the carina obstructing the right main bronchus.
Findings:
- The foreign body was identified as a fractured dental plate, likely aspirated during syncope.
- Rigid bronchoscopy successfully removed the aspirated dental plate.
- The patient had an uneventful recovery and was discharged the same day.
Implications:
- Prompt radiologic and physical examination is crucial for diagnosing airway foreign bodies.
- Timely intervention can prevent mortality in cases of acute airway obstruction.
- Dental foreign body aspiration is a preventable complication during syncopal episodes.
