    Summary

    Necrotizing vasculitis, a rare condition, was incidentally found in a patient suspected of uterine cancer. Further research is needed to understand if this arteritis is localized to the reproductive organs.

    Findings:

    • Histologic examination of the uterus post-hysterectomy revealed necrotizing vasculitis involving the ovaries, fallopian tubes, and uterus.
    • Muscle biopsy confirmed the presence of periarteritis nodosa.

    Implications:

    • This case highlights a rare presentation of necrotizing vasculitis potentially localized to the female reproductive system.
