The case of a patient with periarteritis nodosa-type necrotizing vasculitis and peri- and extra-vascular granulomas associated with hepatitis B virus surface antigenemia (HBs Ag) is reported. The association of necrotizing vasculitis and hepatitis B virus antigenemia is well documented but granulomatous extra-vascular lesions have not been reported in such circumstances.
