Multiparametric MRI-targeted prostate biopsy (MRI-TB) shows higher accuracy for detecting clinically significant prostate cancer than traditional transrectal ultrasound biopsy (TRUS-Bx). However, TRUS-Bx remains valuable in specific patient management scenarios.
