Changes in macular thickness after trabeculectomy with or without adjunctive 5-fluorouracil

Trabeculectomy surgery can cause temporary macular thickening, linked to reduced intraocular pressure (IOP). Adjunctive 5-fluorouracil (5-FU) did not impact these macular changes in glaucoma patients.
