No effects of transcranial DLPFC stimulation on implicit task sequence learning and consolidation

Neurostimulation of the dorsolateral prefrontal cortex (DLPFC) using transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) or transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) did not impact implicit sequence learning or its consolidation in a unimanual task setup. These findings suggest DLPFC stimulation protocols do not influence this type of cognitive learning.
