Summary

This study addresses the need for better training in clinical practice guideline development in South Africa and similar regions. Traditional methods are costly and time-intensive, so newer approaches like adapting existing guidelines are more suitable. The SAGE team created an online toolkit to support these methods. The toolkit is free and accessible, aiming to improve guideline development and use among clinicians and policymakers. The project fills a training gap and promotes practical, context-specific guideline development.

Background:
