Microvascular Angina - Long-Term Exercise Stress Test Follow-up

Long-term exercise stress test (EST) results in microvascular angina (MVA) patients did not correlate with symptom improvement. While some ECG measures improved, clinical outcomes remained unchanged, indicating EST changes are not predictive of symptom relief in MVA.

- Despite differences in EST findings and history of rest angina, no significant differences in angina status or symptom changes were observed between the groups at follow-up.
Conclusions:
- Electrocardiogram (ECG) results showed significant improvement in a notable proportion of MVA patients.
- Changes observed in exercise stress test (EST) results over the long term were not associated with improvements in clinical outcomes or symptom status.
- The study suggests that while EST parameters may change, these alterations do not reliably predict symptom relief in MVA patients.
