  • To analyze outcomes in patients with glossopharyngeal-origin otalgia.

  • Retrospective study of adult patients with intractable unilateral otalgia.
  • Patients underwent tympanic plexus blocks to assess candidacy for surgery.
  • Twelve patients (13 ears) received tympanic plexus neurectomy.
