Summary

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) using diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI) revealed higher apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) values in muscles affected by myositis and non-inflammatory myopathies compared to healthy muscles. No significant correlations were found between ADC values and laboratory markers.
