Interstitial pneumonia with autoimmune features: an additional risk factor for ARDS?

Interstitial pneumonia with autoimmune features (IPAF) in critically ill patients presenting with acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) shows good survival rates. IPAF patients had similar outcomes to ARDS patients with known causes, outperforming those without identified risk factors.
