Summary

Individuals with a pain risk profile face a higher risk of insomnia, especially when not engaging in regular physical activity (PA). Adherence to moderate-to-high PA levels did not buffer this risk for those with persistent pain.

  • A prospective observational study followed 1821 workers over 3 years.
