    Background:

    Purpose of the Study:

    • To investigate the levels of lysosomal catheptic enzymes in muscle tissues.
    • To determine the correlation between enzyme activity and different muscle diseases.

    • Measurement of lysosomal catheptic enzyme activities (cathepsins D, A, B1, C, dipeptidyl peptidase II) in muscle tissue.

    • These findings highlight the critical role of the lysosomal system in the pathophysiology of muscle wasting diseases.
