Proprioceptive deficit after total elbow arthroplasty: an observational study

Total elbow arthroplasty (TEA) significantly impairs proprioception, leading to long-term sensory deficits. Preserving joint capsule tissues during TEA may help reduce this loss and improve functional recovery.

- Mayo Elbow Performance Scale scores indicated 4 excellent, 2 good, and 2 poor outcomes post-surgery.
