Mediterranean Dietary Pattern Adherence Modify the Association between FTO Genetic Variations and Obesity Phenotypes

The Mediterranean diet may lower obesity risk, especially for those with a higher genetic predisposition. Adherence to the Mediterranean diet (Med Diet) interacts with fat mass and obesity-associated (FTO) gene variants to influence obesity risk.
