Granulomatous Upper Gastrointestinal Inflammation in Pediatric Ulcerative Colitis

Pediatric ulcerative colitis (UC) can present with granulomatous inflammation in the upper gastrointestinal tract, a finding previously unobserved. This atypical presentation in UC requires careful differentiation from Crohn disease (CD) in children.
