Summary

The SLIPTA e-Tool is a digital version of a checklist used to improve laboratory quality in developing countries. It was created to address the inefficiencies of paper-based systems in Vietnam and Cambodia. The e-Tool speeds up audit results, reduces workload, and helps overcome language barriers. It was tested and improved based on user feedback. The tool supports faster communication of findings and national-level analysis. The authors suggest that expanding its use could further improve laboratory quality in other regions.
