Metamorphopsia, or visual distortion, often persists in central retinal vein occlusion (CRVO) patients even after macular edema treatment. M-CHARTS effectively quantifies this persistent visual disturbance.

- Early structural parameters at 1 month predict persistent metamorphopsia at 6 months.
