Prolonged leg bending impairs endothelial function in the popliteal artery

Prolonged leg bending impairs vascular endothelial function in the popliteal artery due to reduced blood flow. This suggests that extended periods of bent, immobile legs, whether sitting or lying, negatively impact leg vascular health.
