Background:

  • Typhoid fever, caused by Salmonella typhi, remains a significant global health concern.
  • Conventional treatments can be limited by antibiotic resistance and side effects.
  • Biomagnetic Pair Therapy (BPT) is an alternative approach using magnetic fields.

Purpose of the Study:

  • To evaluate the laboratory and clinical responses of typhoid fever patients treated with Biomagnetic Pair Therapy (BPT).
  • To assess the efficacy of BPT as a sole treatment for Salmonella typhi infections.

Main Methods:

  • Pilot study conducted in an outpatient village clinic in Kenya.
  • 13 patients with laboratory-confirmed typhoid fever were treated exclusively with BPT.
  • Laboratory (Widal test) and clinical evaluations were performed before and after treatment.

Main Results:

  • 10 out of 13 patients (77%) tested negative for Salmonella typhi after BPT treatment.
  • All patients reported significant symptomatic clinical improvement.
  • No adverse effects were noted during the study period.

Conclusions:

  • Biomagnetic Pair Therapy demonstrated a high rate of pathogen clearance and clinical improvement in typhoid fever patients.
  • These findings suggest BPT is a potentially effective treatment for typhoid fever.
  • Further large-scale clinical trials are warranted to confirm the efficacy of BPT.
