Effects of Thyroid Hormone on Urinary Concentrating Ability

Short-term, severe hypothyroidism does not impair urinary concentrating ability in athyreotic patients. Thyroid hormone withdrawal did not affect urine osmolality but impacted serum creatinine and glomerular filtration rate.
