Purpose of the Study:

  • Retrospective analysis of 2057 melanoma cases diagnosed between January 1994 and March 2016.
  • Identification of 99 patients (4.8%) with multiple primary melanomas.

Conclusions:

  • Subsequent melanomas may present with less aggressive features, underscoring the need for vigilant monitoring regardless of initial tumor characteristics.
