Trauma-informed care (TIC) is an emerging concept recognizing trauma's lasting impact.

To identify key considerations for integrating trauma-informed care into nursing practice.

Thematic analysis to identify emergent categories from interview data.

Four categories emerged: Conceptualizing Trauma and TIC, Nursing Care and Trauma, Context of TIC, and Nurse-Patient Relationship Dynamics.
Findings reveal complex trauma dynamics impacting care and parallels between nursing and TIC principles.
