This study introduces the olecranon osteotomy-facilitated elbow release (OFER) for posttraumatic elbow contractures. The OFER technique safely and effectively improved elbow range of motion and reduced pain.

- One case of transient ulnar neurapraxia occurred; olecranon union was achieved in all patients within 7.7 weeks.
