Summary

Bipolar disorder (BD) is associated with altered corpus callosum (CC) microstructure, particularly in the right hemisphere. Diffusion Weighted Imaging (DWI) revealed increased Apparent Diffusion Coefficient (ADC) values in BD patients, suggesting impaired inter-hemispheric communication.
