Background:

Tricuspid regurgitation, particularly severe cases, is often overlooked but carries a significant negative prognosis.
Primary tricuspid regurgitation presents limited surgical options due to high mortality and morbidity risks.
There is a substantial unmet clinical need for safer and effective tricuspid regurgitation treatments.

Purpose of the Study:

To review current percutaneous devices for tricuspid valve repair.
To assess devices that replicate surgical annuloplasty techniques.

Main Methods:

Literature review of available percutaneous tricuspid valve repair devices.
Analysis of device mechanisms mimicking surgical annuloplasty.

Main Results:

Several percutaneous devices are emerging to treat tricuspid regurgitation.
These devices aim to reproduce complete and incomplete surgical annuloplasty.

Conclusions:

Percutaneous approaches are becoming viable options for severe tricuspid regurgitation.
