A rare primary breast chondrosarcoma was diagnosed in a 62-year-old woman presenting with a breast mass. Mastectomy was performed based on imaging and pathological findings for this chondrosarcoma of the breast.

Primary chondrosarcoma of the breast is an exceptionally rare malignant tumor.
Early and accurate diagnosis is crucial for effective management of rare breast cancers.

Observation:

A 62-year-old woman presented with a palpable breast mass that developed over several months.
Imaging studies, including mammography and ultrasound, were performed to evaluate the breast mass.

Findings:

Pathological examination confirmed the diagnosis of primary breast chondrosarcoma.
The imaging and pathological findings guided the surgical treatment decision.

Implications:

This case highlights the importance of considering rare diagnoses in breast imaging and pathology.
