Objective histomorphological patterns of stromal invasion in canine mast cell tumors (MCTs) and soft tissue sarcomas (STSs) were defined. Asymmetrical invasion and margin size significantly correlate with incomplete excision in MCTs, aiding surgical planning for cutaneous malignancies.
