  • No significant differences were found in procedure duration, stone size, stone-free rates, or complication rates between single-use and reusable FURS.
  • Single-use FURS demonstrated an overall stone-free rate of 87% ± 15% and a complication rate of 9.3% ± 9%.

Conclusions:

  • Single-use FURS is as effective as reusable FURS in treating renal calculi.
  • Further studies are required to assess the clinical efficacy and cost-effectiveness of single-use FURS.
  • The potential for single-use FURS to replace reusable counterparts requires additional investigation.
