Abstract:
Two South African patients with frequent drug-resistant complex partial seizures arising from the left temporal lobe were referred to the UK for anterior temporal lobectomy. Both patients are now seizure-free, the first 3 1/2 years and the second 2 1/2 years after operation. Clinical details are presented.
