Prolonged strenuous exercise significantly increases N-terminal pro-B-type natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP) and cell-free DNA (cfDNA) in working dogs. NT-proBNP levels may exceed normal ranges post-exercise, requiring careful interpretation.
