Trauma exposure and endothelial function among midlife women

Traumatic experiences are linked to poorer endothelial function in midlife women. Increased trauma exposure may elevate cardiovascular disease (CVD) risk, independent of other factors.

- A higher number of traumatic exposures correlated with lower FMD, indicating poorer endothelial function.
