  • Phonasthenia and mucus sensation were more frequent in singers, with higher Singing-VHI, RSI, and RFS scores.

Conclusions:

  • A high percentage of singing students exhibit voice disorders.
  • ENT/phoniatric investigation with videostrobolaryngoscopy is recommended before starting singing to ensure vocal fold health.
