Propofol Related Infusion Syndrome: Ultrastructural Evidence for a Mitochondrial Disorder

This case report provides ultrastructural evidence of mitochondrial damage in propofol-related infusion syndrome. Analysis revealed electron-dense bodies in muscle and liver cells, indicating impaired fatty acid metabolism.
