Platelet Count Does Not Predict Bleeding in Cirrhotic Patients: Results from the PRO-LIVER Study

In cirrhotic patients, low platelet counts do not predict bleeding events. Previous gastrointestinal bleeding and encephalopathy are key predictors of bleeding in cirrhosis.
