Diseases of the temporomandibular joint

Cases of myoarthropathy are much more frequent than has so far been assumed. They appear so often that a specific exploratory procedure should form part of the case history and investigation of findings of the dental examination. The result of this examination decides whether diagnosis should be extended by instrumental analysis and whether treatment has to be carried out.
