Background:

Observation:

  • This study reviewed 18 head-injured patients with CT-confirmed frontal contusions, excluding diffuse brain injury or intracranial hematoma.
  • Patients were categorized based on the extent of frontal contusion: unilateral, limited bilateral, and extensive bilateral.
  • Clinical outcomes were monitored to assess recovery and identify complications.

Findings:

  • All 10 patients with unilateral frontal contusions achieved good recovery.
