  • The patient exhibited paravertebral calcifications without any associated vertebral fracture.
  • This presentation is unique as paravertebral calcification alone, without fracture, is not a commonly recognized sign of NAT.
  • The case highlights the potential diagnostic value of paravertebral calcification in suspected NAT.

  • Paravertebral calcification, even in the absence of vertebral fracture, should be considered a potential indicator of nonaccidental trauma.
