Psychogenic nonepileptic seizures (PNES) patients show altered facial emotion processing and increased amygdala connectivity compared to temporal lobe epilepsy (TLE) and healthy controls (HCs). These findings suggest neurophysiologic markers for PNES pathophysiology.
