Fosfomycin Susceptibility in Urinary Tract Enterobacteriaceae

Background:
- Rising antibiotic resistance in uropathogens (ESBLs, AmpC, CRE) complicates Urinary Tract Infection (UTI) treatment.
- Fosfomycin, an older antibiotic, is regaining interest due to its unique structure and lack of cross-resistance with other agents.

- To evaluate the in-vitro activity of fosfomycin against urinary tract Enterobacteriaceae.
