  • Therapeutic nonadherence is a significant barrier to achieving diabetes treatment goals.
  • A new wearable, mechanically controlled, fast-acting insulin patch for mealtime delivery was evaluated.

Purpose of the Study:

  • To compare patient assessments of a novel wearable mealtime insulin patch against traditional insulin delivery systems (syringe, pen, pump).
  • To evaluate patient preference and satisfaction with the new patch system.
