Is Continuous Passive Motion Effective in Patients with Lymphedema? A Randomized Controlled Trial

Continuous passive motion (CPM) did not significantly reduce breast cancer-related lymphedema (BCRL) volume or improve shoulder range of motion. While quality of life improved slightly in the CPM group, it did not offer substantial benefits over standard therapy.

- While CPM may offer a slight improvement in physical well-being for BCRL patients, it does not provide additional advantages over CDT alone for the primary outcomes studied.
