Prosthetic liner wear in total hip replacement: a longitudinal 13-year study with computed tomography

Serial computed tomography (CT) scans enabled limited hip replacement revision surgery by monitoring femoral head penetration and liner wear over 13 years. This approach successfully avoided total prosthesis replacement and identified wear progression.
