Effect of amine structure on CO2 capture by polymeric membranes

New membranes using monoethanolamine (MEA) in poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA) show improved CO2 separation over H2. These MEA-PVA membranes offer higher CO2 permeability and selectivity than previous materials for gas separation applications.
