  • To investigate the neural mechanisms underlying independent versus interdependent self-construal using resting-state functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI).
  • To map the functional connectivity (FC) patterns associated with different self-construal orientations.

  • Utilized resting-state fMRI in 51 healthy participants.
  • Employed voxel-based FC analysis, including FC strength and seed-based FC, to measure temporal correlations between brain regions.
