This study introduces a new Diffusion Kurtosis Imaging with Free Water Elimination (DKI-FWE) model to improve brain microstructure analysis. The DKI-FWE model, combined with a Bayesian shrinkage prior (BSP) estimator, accurately estimates DKI parameters while removing free water effects.
