Abstract:
An intraperitoneal injection of d-amphetamine (1 mg/kg) impaired the altruistic behaviour of young rats, characterized by pulling their littermates to a safe part of a two-compartment apparatus. The direction of the pulling behaviour could be changed by passive avoidance training.
