Relationship between etanercept and thyroid function in patients with psoriasis vulgaris

Psoriasis treatment with anti-tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-alpha) therapy showed no significant impact on thyroid function. However, a negative correlation was observed between TNF-alpha levels and thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH).

- Further research comparing different anti-TNF-alpha therapies is warranted.
