Selection criteria for oxidation method in total organic carbon measurement

High temperature combustion (HTC) and wet chemical oxidation (WCO) are methods for measuring total organic carbon (TOC). WCO is unsuitable for halogenated compounds, unlike HTC, due to oxidation inhibition.
