Summary

The Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH) regulation enhances consumer protection by improving chemical hazard information and risk management. While the authorisation process is progressing, improvements are needed in dossier quality and communication regarding substances of very high concern (SVHC).
